Airshow London has added extra world-renowned fighter jets to its drive-in event.
The United States Air Force Thunderbirds can be among the many headliners at subsequent month’s SkyDrive on the London International Airport, airshow officers introduced on Monday.
The U.S. demonstration workforce will be a part of the beforehand introduced Canadian Forces Snowbirds and CF-18 Hornet demo workforce over the three day aviation spectacle September 9 to 11. The Thunderbirds’ look will mark the U.S. Air Force’s seventy fifth anniversary.
“As an established premier air show in Canada, we look forward to our 2022 event, providing our fans with an unmatched experience,” stated Airshow London Director of Operations Gerry Vanderhoek. “We can’t wait to host the United States Air Force Thunderbirds, representing the positive reputation Airshow London is creating within North America. With clear skies ahead for 2022 and beyond, we are extremely proud to showcase our SkyDrive event once again.”
The drive-in event, now in its third yr, will even embody floor shows and a chance to meet and chat with the assorted efficiency crews.
Each automotive load of spectators is assigned a 20 by 25-foot parking area to watch the present tailgate fashion.
