DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The custom continued because the world-renowned U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds carried out the flyover for the sixty fourth annual Daytona 500 on Sunday at Daytona International Speedway.
The Great American Race marks the season-opener of the NASCAR Cup Series and will be watched on FOX 35. The flyover additionally marks the start of the present season for the Thunderbirds.

The Thunderbirds function six F-16 Fighting Falcons, the Air Force’s premier multi-role fighter plane. They soared over the Speedway at the tip of the National Anthem.
