IonQ has been awarded a $13.4m contract to present quantum computing-based options to the US Air Force Research Lab (AFRL).
Under this contract, the corporate will present AFRL with entry to its trapped ion techniques to support the quantum computing {hardware} research and quantum algorithms and functions’ growth.
Specifically, this firm-fixed-price contract will support the supply and set up of a quantum pc.
