Phillips commissioned into U.S. Air Force – Times News Online

Jonathan P. Phillips Jr., son of Jonathan P. Phillips and Daun L. Corse-Phillips, Orwigsburg, was commissioned into the United States Air Force as a second lieutenant at a May 20 ceremony held on Independence Mall in Philadelphia. His grandfather, Capt. Chester C. Corse, AGC, administered the oath of workplace. Phillips graduated from La Salle University the week previous to the commissioning ceremony.

A 2018 graduate of Blue Mountain High School, Phillips served as a cadet within the Philadelphia regional Air Force ROTC Detachment 750 headquartered at Saint Joseph’s University. He held membership in each the Honor Guard and Arnold Air Society – the Air Force ROTC skilled honorary service group. He earned Arnold Air Society Squadron Member of the Semester honors in fall 2021 and Detachment Cadet of the Month honors in November 2018. He will undertake Undergraduate Air Battle Manager Training at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida.

Phillips graduated cum laude from La Salle University with a significant in historical past and minors in enterprise administration and felony justice.
