Major Christopher Scheibler is the flight surgeon for the U.S. Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron. He provides medical care for more than 120 team members and keeps the pilots in optimal health to complete their rigorous flying schedule. Doctor Scheibler entered the Air Force in 2005 as a graduate of Baylor University’s ROTC program. He completed medical school in 2009 at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD, where he was a member of the university’s rugby team. Before joining the team, he was the flight surgeon for the 555th Fighter Squadron at Aviano Air Base, Italy. He has logged more than 300 flight hours on 10 different aircraft, with more than 125 hours in the F-16. Major Scheibler is in his first season with the team and hails from San Antonio, Texas.
